नई दिल्ली 07 मार्च 26,केंद्र सरकार ने ईरान इजरायल युद्ध के मद्देनजर सनसनीखेज खबरों को रोकने के टीआरपी रेटिंग पर रोक लगा दी है। ये रोक 4 सप्ताह या अगले आदेश तक जारी रहेगी।
सरकार ने ब्रॉडकास्ट ऑडियंस रिसर्च काउंसिल (बीएआरसी) को निर्देश दिया है कि वह चार सप्ताह के लिए समाचार चैनलों की टेलीविजन रेटिंग पॉइंट्स (टीआरपी) की रिपोर्टिंग को तत्काल निलंबित कर दे। सूचना और प्रसारण मंत्रालय के निर्देश के अनुसार कुछ टीवी समाचार चैनल इस्राएल-ईरान संघर्ष के बीच अनावश्यक सनसनीखेज और अटकलबाजी वाली सामग्री प्रदर्शित कर रहे हैं। मंत्रालय ने कहा कि इस तरह की कवरेज से लोगों में दहशत फैल सकती है। निलंबन चार सप्ताह तक या अगले निर्देश तक, जो भी पहले हो, लागू रहेगा।
New Delhi 07 Mar 26, The central government has banned TRP ratings in a bid to curb sensational news in the wake of the Iran Israel war. The suspension will continue for 4 weeks or until further orders. The government has directed the Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) to immediately suspend television rating points (TRP) reporting by news channels for four weeks. As directed by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, some TV news channels are showing unnecessary sensational and speculative content amid the Israel-Iran conflict. The ministry said such coverage could lead to panic among the public. The suspension will be in effect for four weeks or until further notice, whichever is earlier.
